I am an architectural historian in North Carolina. Traveling around the state for my job I always have a camera with me and from time to time I take an interesting photograph. I shoot nearly all digital nowadays, though I will sometimes take my 35mm out to play. Very rarely do I manipulate my photographs in post. I like the what-you-see-is-what-you-get school of thought. That doesn’t meant that on occasion I won’t mess around with photoshop.

There are two other people with my name that I am aware of. Please don’t confuse me with Shelby Lynne the country singer or, oddly enough the person who has shelblyn.com that happens to also be a photographer. It’s a small world, isn’t it? An yes, I am the same Lyn Spillers that attended Millbrook High School.  Name changes are confusing.
